LIVE PAINTING WITH UNITY RISING…. In 2020 I fulfilled a dream of live painting on stage with a band during their set. It was important to me to find a band with a similar vibe to my art. Unity Rising sings about saving the planet, unity, and peace; right up my alley. So when they asked me to paint during their live sets at The Grateful Hammock, I jumped at the opportunity. These sets were also live feeds on Facebook.
During the winter and spring of 2020, I had the opportunity to paint while they played eight times, each time painting on a 24×36 cardboard and finishing the painting during the set.
Unity Rising‘s first album, “Let’s Do This” was produced from recordings of these sets, the album is currently available. 5×7 cards and 11×17 posters are available of these paintings.
I look forward to playing with them more.
