This is my statement on our separation from mother nature, as well as our own human nature. It also speaks of our individual isolation (the sole man in the left corner). The rainbow connects it all — Nature on the right, uninterrupted by the hand of man. The results of man on the left—
I spent 3 months, mourning the loss of two very special boys, Noah (14) and Joshua (21) in the tree. There are over 250 creatures in the tree, they all have food.
The doorway in the center represents peace, which is found in our individual center and is always available, even amongst the chaos. The doorway is open to allow the light in and out.
This painting took 6 months to complete, the last few days I painted wearing magnifying glasses, so please take the time to look closely. The words “One Love” are hidden in the painting — look for the love!
