I have spent many years meditating on what I want to do with my life.
What is my PURPOSE?
How can I be of service to others?
Here is what I have come up with.
MY MISSION:
To use my art and my experiences in ways that bring healing to all,
Ultimately to empower each individual to be all that they can be.
MY GOAL:
To create a Healing Arts Farm in Ohio
MY VISION:
I envision this farm having many buildings, houses, artist space, healing space.
I envision this farm being home to many.
I envision gardens, vegetable gardens, herb gardens, flower gardens.
I envision a green community of like minded people,
living, working, growing, learning and healing together
THE HEALING ARTS FARM
MISSION:
To heal the whole person, the whole family
In healing the whole person we will focus on teaching life skills and self sufficiency
DESCRIPTION OF FARM:
The healing arts farm will include single family homes for those in need of housing.
It will include artist work spaces for painters, photographers, potters, wood workers, etc.
Artist work space will include
studios, a traditional darkroom, a digital darkroom,
a recording studio with a wide variety of musical instruments and a gallery.
There will be large community gardens.
Space will also be available to raise livestock; horses, cows, pigs, chickens, etc.

The healing modalities utilized will include, but certainly not be limited to…
Healing through Artistic Expression
Painting, Photography, Faceted Glass Art
Movement: Yoga, Dance
Meditation
Sound Therapy/Music and Voice Therapy
Counseling- group and individual
We will address issues that lead to homelessness;
such as domestic violence, abuse, addiction, and mental illness.
SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY:
The Farm will offer regular classes for children and adults.
Fieldtrips will be offered to other organizations throughout the community
such as schools, 4-H clubs, scouts, etc.
Summer camp is another possibility.
Art, vegetables, canned goods, baked goods, flowers, eggs, musical recordings, etc.
will be donated to food pantries and/or sold.
These products will be sold at the onsite gallery, via a website, at festivals or at market.
Several times a year the Farm will hold Healing Arts Festivals open to the public.
These festivals will include a
group art show,
classes for children and adults,
demonstrations by working artists,
musical performances, etc.
NOTE FROM ME:
As you can see this is a big idea, a big undertaking.
I am one person.
I am seeking other individuals to help me make this dream a reality.
I am looking for advice, referrals, guidance, any assistance you might be willing to offer.
